Yesterday we got up at about 10 AM. We prepared ourselves for the day and waited for the mail to arrive. It finally came around 11:30. We watched The Price is Right with Gammy while waiting. I was glad that my letter had arrived; Dad had sent me $75 at my request to send some extra money to me. Before we left I also wrote up the fax Lindsey's dad was to send to SCC. It was to request them to send a copy of my newest transcripts to Pfeiffer. It wasn't very good because it didn't copy well. He graciously typed it up for me to send.

We went to Patrick Henry Mall. I had to park at Hecht's because it was surprisingly busy (for 12:30pm on a Wednesday). We first looked around at rings, then went to other places like Old Navy and PacSun. I bought a blue collared shirt in Old Navy. After this we ate in the foodcourt. I had Villa Pizza and Lindsey had food from Charley's Steakery. She didn't finish her sandwich and fries so I ate those in addition to my two huge slices of pizza (pepperoni, one with sausage). Then she went to get an Oreo Blizzard from Diary Queen. I finished off the last 1/4 of it. Then we went to Riverside so I could sign the fax Bud had typed up and eat a couple cows.

We carried him home, stayed there a while as Lindsey did a breathing treatment. At 3:21 Lindsey grabbed a TIME magazine ("80 Days That Changed the World") and we left for the Shell station near the airport. We waited for Steve. Lindsey and I went to the airport and waited for Mr. Proper. I bought a Sprite; she bought a Pepsi. He came out. Lindsey had predicted him well, even the clothes he wore. We waited at one of the entrances for Steve to come pick the guy up in the Towncar. Then we drove by Lulu's, took a strange way to Gammy's.

We stayed here until Lindsey had to go to practice. During that time, she made Gammy's supper: salad and fried clam strips. Lindsey left around seven because she had to go to Walgreen's to pick up Gammy's prescriptions. Her practice at church went well, and Lindsey and her mom had a great talk afterward.

Lindsey got home later than expected, around 9:50pm. We decided to go see "Darkness" (we wanted to see "Life Aquatic" but it started at ten). Lindsey thought it was very scary (She's scared of every movie, even Disney ones. Wimp.) and didn't watch certain parts, with me acting as narrator. She was frustrated with her breathing difficulties and the fact that I had to tell her what was going on during the 'scary' parts. It was okay, though. We went to Wal-Mart afterward. Fog had swallowed everything. I like the way fog makes things look. Anyway, we got Lindsey some cough drops, hair ties, cold/sinus medicine. We then picked up some fishsticks, pizzas, Twist Ups, and a diet Sunkist. We came to Gammy's, burned the bottom of my pizza, found out it was very good burned, watched the Disney animated "Robin Hood," went back and cuddled on 'my' bed, then we parted ways for sleep. It was nearly 3am by this time. Lindsey had trouble sleeping and was up from 5:30 to 6:15 after having fallen asleep very easily at first.

We're up now. She came in here and laid with me for a while a little after 9am. She's sitting on the bed beside me looking at a paper. Gammy and Lindsey have already eaten breakfast. I got up and took a shower and shaved. It's now 10:38 AM and she's asking to read this.

We went to the Richmond airport. Lindsey and I fetched out eight Brazilians and their luggage and led them to the entrance. Lucious and Willy picked them up in the Excursion and a van. We then waited around to see if the lady whose 2:12 Chicago flight was canceled was coming in on a different flight. Steve said if he didn't call back by 2:30 to just leave. We left at 2:32.

We went to Lindsey's practice at around 5. Her, Laura, Kim, Nicole, Colin, Fran, and another guy on bass were there. That lasted until about 6:45. Then, Laura wanted to talk to Lindsey about Andy, so I had to wander around for about half an hour. I talked with Fran for part of it.

After this, we went to the house of Lindsey's friend Veronica. She's getting married on Saturday. We ended up tying ribbons to bottles of bubbles—a whole box of them. They're sort of roughneck, but seem like nice people. After this we went to Lindsey's house. It was almost ten, then. We waited around for her mom to get home because Lindsey and her dad couldn't find the Valium. (Her mom wanted Lindsey to take 5mg that night and ten this morning, which she did.) We finally got to Gammy's, late. I cooked a Mr. P's pizza and watched Conan. When I came back in here, Lindsey was conked out on the bed. I readied the house for the night and then went to bed with her. We talked and stuff until we fell asleep.

Lindsey's father came by at 9:30 this morning. He told Lindsey that he and Kathy thought I'd be more comfortable if I had a dress shirt to wear to the wedding. So, he gave Lindsey money for that ($40) and another $30 for a present for the Veronica and Kenny. I took a shower and shaved while she ate breakfast in the kitchen with them. I was nearly out of shaving gel.

At Target we bought a white shirt for $18 and three cards—one for Kenny (Laura's brother), Gammy, and another in which to put the Target gift card. We printed out their registry, but everything was already bought except for a $52 item.

Next to Patrick Henry Mall to search for a tie. We looked in a couple different places for a ring for Lindsey (not engagement, just a ring, like the other day, also). We didn't find one. We found a $5.99 plain navy tie at one of those island thingies.

Lunch was again in the mall. We bought two pieces of pizza. A meat combination for me and pepperoni for her. It was very good. We then went back to Gammy's to get ready for the wedding. Gammy took a picture of us right before we left for Lindsey's parents' house. We were there for only a minute; her mom tied my tie.

The wedding was nice. It was recorded, with the screen displayed on the projector. We were in frame most of the time. The reception was at The 19th Hole (a country club type place). It was nicely decorated with red and white—balloons, things on the tables, etc. Christmas decorations were still up in both the church and this place. When Lindsey and I went to her practice a couple days before this, they were in the process of taking the Christmas decorations down. Veronica came when practice was over and was upset because she had asked them to leave them up. So, of course, it was all put back into place. Anyway, the reception was very fun. They had Little Smokies; no big even is complete without them. Many people danced, including Bud and Kathy.

We left early, right after the cake was cut. We went back to Gammy's and changed. We then went to Laura's for Kenny's birthday get-together. We stayed for thirty minutes or so. She and Lindsey exchanged Christmas presents. We gave her a walking, shaking, oinking pig called Oinkin' Ollie (Laura loves pigs). Lindsey received an electric candle and a book (something about dead people in the Bible). Andy was there.

I did a U-turn back to Laura's right away because Lindsey forgot her purse.

We decided to eat at Cheddars. We had wanted to go see "Birth" as well, but we ran short on time. It was a nice dinner. I had chicken tenders, fries, and green beans. She had the chicken tenders and shrimp plate. We ordered a Cookie Monster, but the cookie was too well done. The second was delicious.

This morning at 8:15 was orientation at Pfeiffer University. New students went into a small lounge type room at Stokes Student Center. A few people spoke and then we were off to testing. It was very similar to the SAT with different sections and a total testing time of 3 hours.

I also had my first Chemistry II class tonight. Same times as last semester: Monday and Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 8:30. There are eleven people in the course, all of whom were in the previous class. I'm hidden in the back right corner again, so I should be fine.

You'd think a university would have online class registration, financial aid processing, etc. That way I and thousands of others wouldn't have to wait in line for two hours for a dozen stamps, a picture, and millions of fake smiles.

Teenagers can be very annoying. The immature should wait until they're at least twenty-one to start college.
