It's 12:27am and I just got back from seeing Terminator 3 (6/10). I didn't expect it to be as good as T2, which is one of my favorite movies, and I was correct. There were several flaws, but I won't go into that here. I'm not saying it was bad, though. I enjoyed it.

Well, maybe it was bad.

I should play poker more often. Here are the hands I got tonight in order, 2s being wild: AAA22, AAA, 56789, QQQ, 666, JJJ, 9999, QQQ, 999, 678910 (all diamonds), KKKK, 1010QQK, 2288, 22A, 88KK. Five aces right out of the gate. When I got the second straight, I had 6,7,8, and 10 of diamonds with a Jack. I put the Jack down and hoped for the best despite the enormous odds against me. I was amazed. Too bad we weren't playing for money. The most I've ever won in a poker game is $15 and an animated Street Fighter movie from Jason when we were 15.

My life is so boring.

It's 12:37am and I just woke up. I gotta get my whole sleeping schedule fixed. I stayed up way too late, or early rather, the other day. So for the past couple days I've been going to bed in the afternoon and waking up really early in the morning. It still allows me to go to class and everything, but it just sucks. Jason called yesterday afternoon wanting to do stuff and I just now heard the messages. Oh well. I guess I'll call him later today.

When I was out jogging yesterday morning I saw a very large bald eagle. It's wingspan was well over three feet. I love nature. I'd rather live in a small mountain village than New York, anytime.

So, I called Jason at about 11:30am. He said he didn't feel that great and to call him back at 1. He called back about an hour later and said his mom was going to take him to the hospital. His side was hurting and she was afraid it may be his appendix. Hope he's OK.

More wildlife while walking this morning. Bats this time.

I remember when my uncle David was here one night when I was little. He showed me that when you throw a rock up towards bats, they'll swoop down towards it. Since then I've always done that when bats are around.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean (9/10) today. It was good, I really enjoyed it.

That's about it. Rained again.

Got my second test back today in my programming class. Final exam on Wednesday. I missed half of class today because I went to see Leslie about pre-registration. I had already figured out which classes I need to take, just needed her signature. I went down to Patterson to register, but the line was a hundred long out the door so I decided to go back tomorrow.

I should finish next spring. After that I may transfer to UNCC, Pfeiffer, or somewhere else to get a second degree so I can teach. She said I may be able to teach computer courses after I finish with this degree, but I rather go on and get the bachelor's. This is giving me a little more motivation, which I need. I still have many questions, and there are many things to be worked out, but I feel this is all going to happen. Hey, if all this plays out I could end up teaching my brother.

I was at school at 7:45 this morning - first in line. There's always a huge line on registration days. They need to make it available online, that would save a lot of time and trouble for everyone. Tomorrow's the last day of summer classes. I'll have about three weeks off, time to be lazy. Uncle David just stopped by (it's 1:04pm). I forgot how tall he is. 6'6" seems huge when you're 5'9" - 5'10". I remember when Jeremy, Justin, and I were little. We would all get in the front seat of his big, white car. I don't even remember what kind of car it was (I was only like 5). He'd let us take turns sitting on his lap while he drove. He'd let go of the wheel and let us drive. Man, that was awesome. David's a good man; I wish I saw more of him.

I went to school yesterday to see what I made on that final exam and to talk with some people about my plans. I made 94 on the exam. That's my worst test grade for the class. Pretty sure I made an A in there. So after that I went to speak with Leslie. She took me to see Tony Oettinger and some other dude. We just discussed basic stuff, I'm going to go talk with him again sometime soon and go over everything in detail. I really hope all this can work out. If it does, it means I'll be in college for like four more years. That kinda sucks, but I guess it could be worse. I just don't like having to live off my parents, makes me feel like a bum sometimes. Oh well, there's not much I can do about that. This next year is gonna be packed - 5 or 6 classes each semester. I know a guy who's taking 10. I guess that's why he failed 3 or 4 last semester.

I was away from my computer for a while today. Upon my return I found the monologue below. Some child continues to harass me on AIM. I don't really mind though; his/her ignorance is quite humorous. I had a good laugh. Take a look:

First of all, I invited him/her to no chat rooms. I've never even spoken to this person. Second, the level of irony of this kid calling me stupid is astronomically high. As any old man might say, the inferiority of this new generation is going to do this world in. Kyle and I were just discussing this yesterday. I can't imagine the world a century from now. Children can't even spell anymore. I decided to leave Kero51491's questions unanswered. Justification isn't worth the torment that would be speaking to him/her. And certainly no satisfaction of any kind should be given to such a person. But, I'm thinking he/she may have been joking. After all, is anyone really that stupid?

I haven't done much of anything worth mentioning. I've been playing my guitar some. I haven't played in a very long time, so I suck. At the moment I'm trying to play Kyoto Now, which isn't too difficult. I just have to get used to playing again.

There was a huge storm the other day. Power flickered on and off. My life's pretty boring right now. I have three weeks off before classes start back, so I've basically been doing nothing. I went to the dentist at 1:30 for a cleaning. The outcome is rewarding; the process is not.

I thought about going to the Warped Tour with Jason, but decided against. The only bands I would care to see are Bad Religion and Pennywise (who didn't come to Charlotte), or maybe the Suicide Machines. I hear they're putting on a great show. But it's really not worth having to wade through all the 13-16 year olds desperately trying to harness an image; "teeny boppers" as they are called. The ones who actually like Good Charlotte, Blink 182, Sum41, etc. and think they're "punk" or whatever label they wish to be. Irony and ignorance: destroying the earth, its populace, and intelligent humans' ears. I guess it's a case of monkey see, monkey do. Many of them do look like monkeys, especially the MxPx crowd. It doesn't really bother me that much. They are teenagers, after all. I'm just glad attempting to be "cool" wasn't a big concern of mine when I was young. Thank God I'm not a teenager anymore.

In other news, Thve Rock has to be one of the worst movies ever made. I made the mistake of watching some of it the other day. What a horrible movie. The acting is laughable, the characters are as unoriginal as can be, and it's extremely over dramatic. Plus it has Nicolas Cage, someone I've always hated (although that opinion may change). I'm angry today.
