Sam and I spent all day at the Rave. We saw We Were Soldiers (7/10), Time Machine (5/10), and E.T. (10/10). The first was good, the second was average or less, and the last was great. E.T. is her favorite movie and she finally got to see it in the theater, which is the best way to see any movie. We survived off of popcorn and coke all day, and we shared a big bag of Reese Pieces while we watched E.T.

The extra scenes and the improved quality was nice to see, but I'd still rather watch the original—the same with Star Wars. Do you think Spielberg should've left the guns in the movie?
