In other words, my parents finally decided to plug into the Internet.
I was trying to get a new e-mail address and everything I wanted was taken. It took me about fifty tries to finally get one at hotmail. Andrew and I have sent a few e-mails back and forth. It seems to be having a good time at State. I haven't talked to Keri, yet. I need to try to find Jennifer, too.
I downloaded AOL Instant Messenger here at my parents' the other day. I had never used it much before. I'm getting a kick out of it. I'm sure it's common to everyone else, but instant messaging is something I've tried very few times. I talked to Keri after I got it. It's amazing how emotions can run so high over an instant messaging program. It's just text, but we were laughing like crazy. I wish I'd had this at home sooner. I'm talking with Keri right now as a matter of fact. She just said Amy is at a Jimmy Buffet concert. Now she's talking about how she's going to be in a sheep show at the Raleigh State Fair. She'll walk the sheep around and be like, "Here is a sheep." Ha, Keri's a redneck but I love her to death.
I suppose I'm asocial or socially inept when it comes to the Internet. I can tolerate instant messaging if it's with someone I know, but when a stranger throws "A/S/L?" towards me, I just turn the other way. I guess that's why I prefer to express myself with this journal/log.
However.
One night I was feeling particulary daring and went into a chat with my microphone on. I know.
